That Makes It Two!

The Cougars played a very strong game yesterday and scored a decisive win. Once again, strong individual efforts from all players, combined with good teamwork made the difference. Next week the team faces Kerry Park. Can we make it three in a row?

Today's Game 4 against Team 3 was the Cougars' best game so far this season. It truly was a full team effort with everyone playing their positions well and going hard after the ball.  Our defence was solid and the forwards controlled the ball well to create several scoring opportunities.  Our striker, Nathaniel got a hat trick and Riley, playing midfield got the other two goals. The final score was 5-2.

Who Can Help Out?

The team needs parent volunteers for concession duty between 8:30 and 10:55 on Sat Oct 28th at the Sherman Road fields. We need 2 sets of 3 parents (6 volunteers all together).  We can do two groups of three, one from 8:30 - 9:45, the other from 9:45-10:55.

Remember the CVSA is an association run by volunteers and we need everyone to contribute when possible. Please email coach Lori to let her know if you are willing to take a shift.
